Call For Abstracts

Abstracts are invited from researchers and student wishing to present their research work for oral and poster presentation. The abstracts should be submitted online as per the MS word template provided on the website www.bio3.in. Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, single spacing, and standard margins The abstract submission begins from December 30, 2024 and the last date is extended to February 6th March, 2025. At least one author should be registered for the conference. The abstract(s) received without the registration fee will not be included in the conference scientific program.

Based on expert panel evaluation of the abstracts, full papers would be invited for a indexed proceedings / journal.

There are prizes for outstanding poster and oral presetations based on jury’s decisionin different tracks.

Full paper format: The length of full paper has to be between 4000-6000 words, The paper should have the following sections: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and References. Follow the APA 7 style for citations and references. Paper has to be written in Calibri , 12-point font, double spacing, and 1-inch margins on all sides. Ensure all figures and tables are clear and properly labelled. Include them within the text at the appropriate places. References should Include full titles of journals and provide DOI where available.

Oral/Poster Awards - From amongst the oral/posters presented in each of the 3 thematic areas viz. Biotechnology, Biomanufacturing and Oral/, the three Best Oral/Posters in each of the thematic areas will be selected, as adjudicated by the panel of judges, and will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd Best Oral/Poster Awards.

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

The space available for each poster would be of 3´ 4 ft. Each poster would be allotted an identification mark (a number, which would be mounted on the top of the board by the organizers). Top section of the poster should indicate the title, authors and their affiliations. The contents of the poster may be divided into: Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Conclusions.

The posters should be displayed for a specified time period on either of the days of the conference. The authors are expected to be present for evaluation/public interaction.

There are three thematic areas, Viz. Biotechnology, Biomanufacturing and Bioeconomy which will discuss the potential of different thrust areas or subtracks in shaping the national mission of Viksit Bharat (developed India).
